317 & Counting

The amazing and ultra-glamorous Steven Meisel’s work for Vogue Italy is so fascinating and there is so much material, that a book about it had to happen, the fashion world were aching for a covetable book that could bring together all his work since 1988 until 2009.

The book is a limited edition created by Mallard/Janvier that shows that heaven-made-relationship between the photographer and the publication. It’s something that’s almost impossible to find these days: a fruitful, faithful partnership that has defined much more than fashion over the past two decades.

You can get it for €49 on the website: Mallard/Janvier. What are you waiting for?

More From “A Single Man”

01 CoverSkins, one of my favorite shows of the moment – I am beginning to watch it on MTv Latins America from the first season – is becoming some kind of a – very grown up – U.K version of the Mickey Mouse Club, making the actors international superstars. First it was Dev Patel and the Academy Award winning sensation “Slumdog Millionaire”, now is Nicholas Hoult turn – Tony on the first seasons of skins – and the now critically acclaimed Tom Ford’s film debut “A Single Man”.

Inside the magazine the actor talks about growing up in front of the spotlight, “There’s always that fear of not being good enough and becoming one of those washed-up child actors” says Hoult. And off course, he is experience with the amazing Tom Ford and his film Debut, explaining that he had no idea who Ford was “It was until we had dinner that it all came out about his past in fashion. Afterward, I went back to my hotel and Googled him. And then I realized what a big deal he was” explains the actor “A Single Man is about letting go the past, not worrying about the future and living the now. A great film can change the world, and I think A Single Man is one of those films”.

A plus. What Tom Did next… The designer-cum-film director talks to Aaron Hicklin about the genesis of his debut feature, A Single Man. With photography, clothes and styling by GOD Tom Ford, this issue is a must. Go to Out Magazine for more info.

Paranormal Profitability

This movie costed under US$15.000, was made in 2007, each actor – Katie Featherston and Micah Sloat – recieved US$500 , is the number one movie of the week in the U.S, and have grossed over US$60 millions in the U.S alone… How cool is that? Talking about profitability.
